OUR PRECIOUS METALS
"Passionate about antique jewelry, I wanted to reproduce in my creations the unique warm-toned hue found on pieces that have been mantled and patinated over time. So I embarked on the ambitious project of creating my own precious metal alloy. "
VENETIAN GOLD, A SECOND SKIN

After several months and (many) technical trials, Venetian Gold was born.

It's a blend of 14-carat gold and copper. The two noble metals are mixed (not plated) by hand, in a responsible workshop near Venice (the region where it was created, hence the name). This ensures that the material retains its natural patina and does not fade over time. Naturally rust-proof and hypoallergenic, it can (reasonably) be in contact with water without affecting its condition.

Venetian gold matches all skin tones and adds a more authentic, shimmering touch to the jewel. As important as its design, this hue is exclusive to My Little Vendome creations, giving them that stamp of character and history to live by.

"For me, it was essential that my creations could be worn on a daily basis."

A LUMINOUS SILVER

In addition to the naturally rust-proof and hypoallergenic properties of Venetian gold described above, we've applied a thin layer of Rhodium to the surface of our pieces.

This is a bright, precious white metal from the platinum family, to give them their luminous silvery color.

THE METALS IN OUR VINTAGE JEWELRY

In our selection of vintage jewelry, you'll find the majority in 925 silver and 925 vermeil. These metals are renowned for their resistance over time.

Nevertheless, I am sometimes surprised and fascinated by pieces in glass, bakelite or brass, which I would also like to offer you.
