OUR MAINTENANCE TIPS

Your My Little Vendôme jewelry is made of Venetian Gold: an 18-karat gold patina applied by hand to a nickel-free, hypoallergenic brass base. Our silver-colored pieces are coated with palladium and rhodium. Like any hand-applied patina, it can be preserved with a few simple steps.

Everyday Activities

Put on your jewelry last and take it off first. Remove it before showering, bathing, swimming in a pool or the ocean, exercising, and before going to sleep. Avoid contact with perfumes, creams, oils, and household cleaning products: apply your perfume, let your skin dry, and then put on your jewelry.

Cleaning

After each time you wear it, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth—a few seconds is all it takes. Do not use cleaning products, ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive sponges, or soapy water: the patina does not react well to water. If a mark persists, please contact us before attempting any further action.

Storage

Store each piece of jewelry individually in its box or pouch, away from moisture and direct light. Close the clasps on necklaces and bracelets to prevent tangling, and avoid storing them in the bathroom.

Vintage Jewelry in 925 Sterling Silver and Vermeil

Our vintage collection features pieces made of 925 sterling silver and vermeil (yellow or rose gold). Silver jewelry can be cleaned sparingly with a silver polish. For vermeil, use a slightly damp sponge, then dry it immediately with a clean cloth. Do not clean your jewelry too often to avoid premature wear on the gold plating.
